Aligning entire talent pool to one vision:
According to Rajorshi, it is important for HR’s vision and passion to reach the last person on the floor so as to make it fruitful. If communication is missing or flowed, execution cannot happen smoothly. Continuous communication is key. Given that the talent pool is changing rapidly with the influx of millennials, it is now a must for HR to leverage technology to drive its vision.

Using technology to connect with the millennial workforce by creating platforms of open communication are a must for HR today.
Relooking at the current policies to understand if they are archaic and have lost touch in the current context.

According to Rajorshi, HR issues remain the same at the core, no matter which industry you go to. However, spending a large part of his career in a specific industry has helped him deep dive and understand the business context better. The 15 years he has invested in the pharma sector are an advantage for him.
Things that have changed about Rajorshi:
He believes that we can’t change everything. “Therefore it’s always better to focus on one thing that gives you maximum result. Also, take people as they are. Know your priorities and get going.”
